Amongst the many marvels of Italy, there exists an unmistakable jewel: Venice.
We're from the Veneto: a land of rivers, cities of art and fertile plains. Tenuta Santomè, a 19th century farmhouse lovingly reconstructed to include a state of the art wine cellar and a comfortable and elegant adjoining Agriturismo, blossomed right here, in the "Marca Trevigiana," along the river Piave, in the heart of Prosecco and Raboso country.
The winery is easy to reach (near the Treviso-Sud motorway exit, parallel to the Treviso-Mare state road), and it is close to two important historical-artistic towns such us Treviso and Venice. The property extends over 63 hectares of vineyards, 30 of which are at the Biancade Headquarters, 30 in the “Grave di Papadopoli” area on an island in the Piave river between the municipalities of Cimadolmo and Maserada and a further 3 hectares in the Collalto area on a sunny hill called "Bosco Coste" just a few kilometers south of the town of Conegliano, home of the first Italian wine-maker school, "G.B.Cerletti".
